Yes. Design your set, then open Salon Mode at your appointment — it shows any tech the exact per-finger recipe, no account needed on their side. If they like it, your chair has a QR code waiting for them the other way around, too.

Eight shapes — almond, oval, round, square, squoval, coffin, ballerina and stiletto — and four lengths from short to XL. Shape and length apply to the whole hand, the way a real set does.

Glossy, chrome, glazed, milky and matte — applied per nail, so you can mix a matte set with a single chrome accent finger, or keep everything soft and milky.

Yes. Colours, finishes, french tips, stickers, lettering and freehand art are all placed per finger. Shape and length stay consistent across the hand, because that is how an artist actually sculpts a set.

No. Nailly uses real accounts, and your designs, saved looks, boards, chats and booking records are backed up to your account. Sign in on a new phone and your work follows you.

Artists in your city see your design on the board. When one who can make it claims it, you chat directly in the app — ask questions, get a quote for exactly that set, and agree the appointment together.

No. The price and payment for the nail service itself are agreed directly between you and the artist, like any salon visit. Nailly is the design and the introduction — we do not take a cut of your set.

You can simply type it. If you prefer, grant location access once and a single GPS reading determines your city on the phone — the reading itself never leaves your device. Location permission is never required.

Every account starts with a free week with full access, tied to your email. After that, it's one simple monthly membership — a discounted rate if you joined with an artist's invite, a separate rate for artists. You always see the exact price in the app before paying, and appointments themselves are paid to your artist, not to us.

Your first week is free with everything unlocked. It is tied to your email address, so deleting and re-creating an account does not restart it — that keeps it fair for everyone.

Memberships are billed through the app marketplace you installed Nailly from, under your existing account there. Manage or cancel anytime in that marketplace's subscription settings; cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the renewal.

No and no. No advertising, no sale of personal data, no third-party analytics trackers, no AI training on your content. Nailly makes money from memberships — that is the whole business model.

Settings → Delete account & all data. It permanently deletes your account on our servers — profile, backup, everything — then erases the data on your device. If our servers cannot be reached, nothing is deleted anywhere, so you are never left half-deleted.

No — nails are dead keratin with no cells to oxygenate, so they don't "breathe" through the air the way skin does. They get everything they need from the blood supply in the nail bed underneath, not from exposure to air. Gel and acrylic don't suffocate nails when applied and removed properly; damage comes from harsh removal (peeling or over-filing), not from the polish sitting on top.

It can help if you're genuinely deficient, but most people already get enough biotin from a normal diet, and extra biotin on top of that doesn't speed up growth beyond your baseline rate. Nail growth responds much more to overall health, circulation and avoiding repeated damage than to any single supplement.

About a tenth of a millimeter a day — roughly 3mm, or one-tenth of an inch, per month for fingernails. A full nail growing out from cuticle to tip takes four to six months. Toenails grow far slower, closer to a year to a year and a half.

Yes — professional nail care for men has moved solidly into the mainstream, and most artists who take walk-ins or bookings are used to the request. Buffed and glossy natural nails, clear or matte top coat, and increasingly full color or design work are all standard asks now, not unusual ones.
