The expensive way to learn nails is two hours and a set of extensions at a time. The free way is a design studio: flip through all eight shapes, watch the same red switch from glossy to matte to chrome, shrink a french tip to a micro line — and develop actual opinions before an appointment is ever booked. Mistakes in the studio cost nothing and teach everything.

Because you design the exact set yourself, you also skip the beginner's classic trap: falling for a look that only works on someone else's nail beds.

Nobody should need a translator to book a manicure.
