NaillyDip powder (often called SNS after a popular brand) builds colour by layering: a resin base is brushed on, the nail is dipped into finely milled pigmented acrylic powder, and the cycle repeats two or three times before a sealing activator hardens everything — no UV lamp involved. The result wears like a light overlay: stronger than gel polish, thinner than a full acrylic set, typically lasting three to four weeks.
Two things to watch for as a customer. Hygiene: communal dipping jars are a cross-contamination risk — the careful standard is powder poured or brushed over your nail, never your finger into the shared pot. And removal: dip is acrylic chemistry, so it soaks off slowly and is a place where impatient filing does damage. Done cleanly and removed patiently, it is a durable, lamp-free middle path.
